We are not only mountain guides but also rescuers and rope access professionals.
We provide services, solutions, and training for companies where access may be hard or impossible. In many cases, our solutions are more economical and can minimize risk and liability.
Pisgah Climbing School provides rope access solutions informed by SPRAT certification at the highest level — Karsten Delap holds SPRAT Level 3, the highest certification offered by the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians. Whether your team needs to meet industrial safety standards or develop technical rope skills for non-standard access environments, we can build a program or solve a problem around your requirements.
Rescue Team Training
We train professional rescue teams in the technical rope systems and vertical terrain skills required for high-angle rescue operations. Our guides are active members of local rescue squads — this is field-tested methodology used in real rescues on real terrain, not classroom theory.We have a curriculum for military units and rescue teams to help them meet standards in technical mountain movement, rope rescue and CASEVAC with medical and tactical considerations.

We design custom climbing experiences for corporate groups, leadership teams, and organizations seeking high-impact experiential programs. The mountains have a way of revealing character — under good guidance, that becomes a powerful development tool.
Programs range from single-day introductory experiences to multi-day leadership and team cohesion intensives. All programs are custom-designed and led by certified guides.
