Background

Peter was born and raised in New York, but didn't get into climbing until he was introduced at a climbing gym after moving to Atlanta.

As he progressed from gym to single pitch and then to multipitch, Peter gained an appreciation for teaching and sharing these experiences with others. After gaining his AMGA Single Pitch Instructor certification, Peter began to see instruction as a public health objective to lessen the risk of injuries and accidents in the community. Peter's experience draws from climbing all over the Southeast, but also as far away as New York and Washington. Off the rock, you can find him at a desk wondering why his code won't run, kayaking, or exploring the Triangle.
