Background

Jason grew up in the Shenandoah Valley where playing in creeks and climbing trees were the norm.

In pursuing a life in Corporate America, he reconnected with the outdoors through a climbing trip in the Sandia Mountains in New Mexico. Following that experience, Jason began to pursue outdoor leadership as a passion and career through guiding. Since changing career trajectories, Jason has climbed in many notable areas including Cirque of the Towers (Wind River Range), Red Rock Canyon, Sierra Nevada (Kings Canyon), all over North Carolina and the Colorado Rockies. Jason is also an accomplished mountain and ultra runner and loves sharing his passion for the mountains with others. As a father of four, sharing time with family out climbing is one of his favorite things to do. Jason is also the founder of the Summit Seekers Experience social media platform which provides high quality instructional climbing videos.
