Background

Kevin grew up in Florida, but spent the last 20 years in North Carolina in Army Special Forces.

He has extensive experience leading small groups in austere environments throughout Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia; and graduated from Norwich University summa cum laude. Kevin was introduced to climbing in 2010 at Pilot Mountain, NC, and has since climbed across the United States and the Middle East. In addition to guiding, Kevin is the president of the board of the Special Operations Climbers Coalition, a Mountain Tactical Institute athlete, and a volunteer on the Transylvania County Reacue Squad.
